How does a website know if you’re addressing it via domain or its IP? A question about how antifa.com and loser.com can be resolved via their domain name, but cannot be manually entered via their IP addresses

I was looking up how [antifa.com](https://antifa.com) redirected elsewhere and also came upon that [loser.com](https://loser.com) does as well.

I looked up their DNS records and typed in their respective IPs in my browser’s address bar. When each IP is used instead of the domain, [Antifa.com](https://Antifa.com) turns up blank and [loser.com](https://loser.com) has some type of ‘this page is available’ page.

How is it that my PC can resolve and use those domains, but I cannot manually type their IP listed and get the same result?
